1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Use apply to access to and use of physiobook.com, including its pages, articles, forms and other features (the “Website”). The Website is published and operated by PERONEUS d.o.o., A. G. Matoša 8, 10360 Sesvete, Croatia, Croatian personal identification number (OIB) 41616434132.

By using the Website, you acknowledge these terms. If you do not agree with them, you should stop using the Website. Additional terms may apply to a particular service and will be presented before that service is used.

2. Medical and informational disclaimer

The Website provides general educational information about physical therapy, rehabilitation, medicine, movement, sport, nutrition and related topics. It does not provide a medical diagnosis, an individual treatment plan or emergency services, and it does not replace an examination, advice or treatment by a physician, physiotherapist or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Never disregard professional medical advice, delay seeking it or change prescribed treatment solely because of Website content. Results and risks differ between individuals. If you believe that you may have a medical emergency, immediately contact the emergency services available in your location.

3. Copyright and permitted use

Articles, photographs, illustrations, video, databases, branding, design and other Website materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Rights belong to the publisher, the identified author or another rights holder that has authorized publication.

You may view the Website for personal, non-commercial use and share a link to the original page. Copying, adapting, republishing, selling, scraping or systematically extracting content without prior written permission is prohibited except to the extent expressly permitted by law. Any permitted quotation must identify the author where stated, name PHYSIOBOOK and include an active link to the original page.

4. User responsibilities and submissions

You must use the Website lawfully and must not compromise its security, availability or the rights of another person. Prohibited conduct includes introducing malicious code, attempting unauthorized access, placing an unreasonable automated load on the Website, fraud, harassment and unlawful promotion.

If comments or other user submissions are enabled, you are responsible for your submission and confirm that it does not infringe third-party rights. The publisher may moderate, refuse or remove unlawful, abusive, misleading, promotional or irrelevant material.

5. External links and embedded content

The Website may link to or embed third-party websites, videos, social posts, research and other services. Those providers apply their own terms and privacy practices. PERONEUS d.o.o. does not control their availability, content or data processing and recommends reviewing the relevant provider’s notices before use.

6. Advertising and sponsored content

The Website may be funded by advertising, sponsorships and affiliate or other commercial relationships. Commercial content is identified where required. An advertisement or external link does not constitute a medical endorsement, warranty or guarantee of the advertiser’s product or service.

The third-party supplier is responsible for its own sales terms, delivery, warranties, returns and complaints.

7. Forms, subscriptions and communications

You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into a contact, registration or subscription form. Information is used for the stated purpose, such as answering an enquiry or sending a newsletter after the required consent has been provided.

You may withdraw newsletter consent through the unsubscribe link in a message or by emailing info@physiobook.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

8. Availability and changes

The publisher uses reasonable efforts to keep the Website secure and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be limited temporarily for maintenance, security, technical issues or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Content may be corrected, supplemented, moved or removed without prior notice when required for accuracy, legality or editorial reasons.

9. Limitation of liability

Reasonable care is taken when preparing and updating content, but no guarantee is made that every statement is complete, error-free, current or suitable for an individual health condition. You use the Website and external resources at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of data or consequences of decisions based exclusively on general Website content.

10. Privacy and cookies

Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Storage technologies and consent choices are described in the Cookie Policy. You can reopen consent settings at any time using the button in the Website footer.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Croatian law. The parties will first try to resolve a dispute amicably. If that is not possible, jurisdiction rests with the court determined by applicable law, without limiting mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the Website, technology or applicable rules change. The current effective date and version are shown at the top of the document. Material changes will be highlighted when appropriate.
